No longer a huge part of my philosophy, but fun to say
bellatirx: NO GUYS What if someone died, and stayed dead, in the new run? Unprecedented and actually interesting! I’d briefly forgive Moffat for his benevolent sexism, and love him. Then hate him again for his benevolent sexism and poor character development. But for a second, I’d love him. Because then future writers wouldn’t shy away from offing the occasional central character. You need that to keep it interesting. Also, if the new companion is non-human I might just have to forgive him for a whole week.
